M12 D.coded receptacles with shielding sheet

The panel mount connectors with dip solder contacts and shielding sheet are also available as D-coded versions for use in Ethernet applications. The contact carrier with straight or angled contacts is snapped into the PCB and afterwards soldered in a soldering bath. The connector housing is then fixed to the front panel of the application and at the same time the PCB with the contact carrier is mounted. In that way the resilient shielding sheet is in contact with the connector housing. When mounted and locked correctly an IP 67 protection degree is achieved. These connectors can be used for panel thicknesses of 2 to 3 mm and PCB thicknesses of 1,6 mm.
